Fact of the Day: Roman Police

  2. We saw lots of Roman Police in Italy. Police doesn't seem too far removed from government or citizen. I've forgotten so much of the Latin I studied so many years ago. I rely on Terry now to translate many Latin terms. Have a good one, my curious friend!

  3. Interesting. Makes sense, an authoritarian government would be a police state.
