Photos: Our Walk to the Hospital Visit

Like I mentioned before Daisy's dad was in the hospital for a few surgeries (nothing that serious or scary) so we took the scenic route to the hospital nearby with a walk. We passed by this baptist church on the way and I could see all this peeling paint on the columns. Guess they should have prayed for a bonding primer before they painted this one?
Speaking of improvement of buildings, I saw this sad little house. Looks like it's falling apart. Someone really wanted a purple door. Really doesn't match the red shutters, so much so that one of the shutters refused to be part of the whole thing.
This was actually the first time I had been to Spartanburg Regional since my own father was dying of cancer when I was seven. Luckily I got us to the right area of the big place in one try. We stayed about an hour, not much you can really do. Not much comfort if there is more than one visitor in the room either.
After the visit, we walked back to our car, then we had some Krispy Kreme donuts which was nearby.

  3. Keeping my blue fingers crossed, toes too. That purple door needs some purple rain.

Krispy Kremes are way too sweet for me. I like Dunkin Donuts.

  12. Glad to hear that Daisy’s dad was OK. We didn’t have Krispy Kreme in our area. But we did treat the kids to Dunkin Donuts on the weekends sometimes.

  13. Is that a wheelchair ramp out front of the house? I imagine a wheelchair bound person can't do much much in the way of exterior home improvement. Maybe some nice folks in the community could help spruce up the home a bit?
