Fact of the Day: Mockingbird Animals

While mockingbirds are famous for making the sounds of other birds, but they can also imitate the sounds of amphibians and insects.

That movie "To Kill A Mockingbird" is one of my favourites.

With their imitations of other bird sounds, I suppose it is only logical that they would be called MOCKINGBIRDS.
