Fact of the Day: Nevada Voting For Nobody Option

In all major elections in the state of Nevada, there is an option to vote for "None of these candidates" which is typically below 1% of the total vote. It went up to 2.56% in the 2016 Presidential Election. Even if the none option wins, the candidate with the most votes gets elected.

I it's always best to vote for someone instead of nobody or leave a blank vote.

Seems kinda pointless, but shows they don't like either at least

I also think this option is really pointless. Like....why!?!?!?! It's apathy that gets stupid people elected!

Seems totally useless then.

Seems strange, but considering some people may feel that way, it sort of makes sense to have it as an option. Hugs...RO
