Photo: Holiday in Shadowland Spartanburg Lightbulb

My city has these light bulb art pieces all over the city. This one was right near the Children's Museum downtown as I was walking down the sidewalk. This one is painted like a children's storybook, though I always found jesters to be rather creepy.

  2. hmmm...wonder why lightbulbs were the chosen subject to paint ? Pretty cool, tho.

  3. That's a fun shape to work with, Adam. In Calgary, Canada, the shape is cows. In Brighton, UK, it is snails. I find it fun to go around and see what art turns up throughout a city.

  4. Back again, Adam. I just read on Debra's blog that you have written fiction under a pen name. You are full of surprises. Your story definitely sounds intriguing!

  6. Lovely! There's a little beach town in Michigan that puts things like this up around the city. Last year it was decorated unicorns and the year before that I believe carousel horses.

  7. What a great public art installation. But I too find jesters creepy.
