Photo: Revolution Martial Arts Trunk or Treat

Through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, I took my little brother Mr. B to a trunk or treat the Sunday before Halloween. I've never been to one of these, but I figured it'd be fun and something we can't do but just once a year. I will say, if parents only take their kids to trunk or treat, that's pretty lame. Kids need to go door-to-door Halloween night for a real Halloween night of candy and fun. As an extra event, they're okay
The good thing about trunk or treats is the creative trunks of automobiles. This one was suppose to be Angry Birds.
And this was a Walking Dead dart game.
And a Jaws trunk on the vehicle.
And my favorite, the Ghostbusters van.
Even Slimer made it!

  3. Most of the trunk or treats are lame around here, but the two churches down the road from me are pretty nice. In addition to the trunk or treats, they have a free community picnic and bounce houses for the kids to enjoy. Nice that you took your little brother to one though.

  5. I've only ever been to one trunk or treat, and it was pretty tame. So this is the first time I realize that people actually dress up their trunks. I'm totally impressed with the Ghostbusters one. Very creative and kudos again for being a Big Brother! Hugs and Happy Monday! RO

  6. This year our town closed the downtown streets for Trick or Treat. I heard there was a surprisingly big turnout. In this age, best way to have a safe Halloween.
