Fact of the Day: Old Avocado
Avocados were first cultivated in present-day central Mexico about 10,000 years ago.
And only became popular in my country like two years ago, before I had no idea where I can buy them. By the way I never tried tasty avocado, but believe they exist.
Didn't know that, they certainly have been around for a very long time then.
ReplyDeleteBeen around a bit
ReplyDeleteGood grief! I never understood why avocados are so fattening.
ReplyDeleteA good thing!
ReplyDeleteWow! Had no idea they've been around so long! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteSo people have been enjoying them for a long, LONG time!
ReplyDeleteWow. Who'd have thought they've been around this long.
ReplyDeleteMost people like them, but I'm not one of them. : )
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteAnd only became popular in my country like two years ago, before I had no idea where I can buy them.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I never tried tasty avocado, but believe they exist.
We have two avocado trees now bearing fruit. Heaven!
ReplyDeleteI love them, but it took my almost 30 years to acquire a taste for them. Now, I can't get enough.
ReplyDeleteAvocados grow on trees - to the best of my knowledge, trees have been on planet earth since the beginning of time - so why the bloody surprises??
ReplyDeleteNothing nicer with a salad than avocados.
