Photo: Little K's First Pair of Glasses

My niece Little K got glasses recently, which was only a matter of time. Both of her parents need glasses, so her genetics was against her. Her mom says she was nervous, but she was happy they had a pair of Hello Kitty glasses. I just hope the kids in school don't try to pick on her. She's in kindergarten, so maybe not. I got mine in 9th grade, it wasn't exactly a warm welcome when some of the people who didn't like me saw it on my face.

Aaaaaw...now I want Hello Kitty glasses too:) And yeah...some high school kids just suck so it's great she got it at an age where kids are still open-minded.

She looks cute in the glasses, I love the color.
Kindergarten seems to be a good age to get glasses-middle school/high school the worse.

She is as cute as can be in those glasses. My little kindergarten boy just got glasses and he had no idea he couldn't 'see' before he was fitted. I hope the kids don't make fun of her, too, Adam.

Shes is so cute! I think glasses are more acceptable to kids now than they were when we were younger. Speaking of glasses, I have to go pick my new ones tonight.

I'm sure she'll be fine. Neither of my girls got picked on when they got glasses. I think it's trendy to have them these days, unlike when we were in school.
