I was surprised when I ordered my first expresso in Italy. It came in a cup smaller than a shot glass and was very strong. I asked for some cream and the barista put literally a drop in. I switched to cappuccino after that.

I like a brown or raw sugar cube and a twist of lemon peel with my little cup of espresso.
