Fact of the Day: Stonewall Jackson Sister

Confederate General Stonewall Jackson was close to his sister Laura Jackson Arnold until the Civil War. She supported the Union with great patriotism. When he was killed accidentally by his own men, she expressed mixed feelings.

My family lost brothers to that war. Fortunately divided loyalty was not in play.
