Photo: Denny's Corporate Headquarters Building in Spartanburg

South Carolina is a very mediocre state in many ways, while many famous companies are in New York and California, we have very few. Interesting enough, the restaurant Denny's moved its headquarters here about ten or fifteen years back in the tallest building in the city after BB&T vacated. Now the question is, does this make Spartanburg as a whole really excited to eat at Denny's? That answer is no. We have two, but while they do have some decent traffic, I've never ate at one when it was packed out.

Right near it is this little "garden" walkway/park, whatever you want to call it. I remember playing here once as a child. You can walk past the area several times and not see it due to the way it comes off the ground.
On the edges are these neat fountains.

  1. Denny's is a favorite place for me to take my grandkids. They can always find something they like on the menu.

  3. We have a Denny's down the road a ways (15 miles which is pretty close when you live in the middle of nowhere.) We don't have much too chose from so the Denny's here is always crowded.

  4. I've heard that Denny's is coming to our town. Many people think having big box restaurants will be more affordable than the local mom & pop restaurants. Denny's prices will be no different. Quality wise, people will be happy for several months.
