Photo: Sauna

While looking around in Costco, I saw this stand-alone sauna they had on display. I saw a Finnish one at the Spartanburg International Festival about two years ago, and you could step in for a minute and feel the heat. It does sound appealing in the winter time. Though I wouldn't know where to put the blasted thing at my residence.

No room for one at my house either!

I've never been a fan of them, but my husband loves them so much he bought a steam shower that does pretty much the same thing. A good option for those who want one but don't have the space for it.

I live in an apartment so we couldn't have one here.

Doesn't sound like a good idea to get one!

It's best if you live in a wintry northern climate. After the sauna, you run out naked into the backyard, beat yourself with pine branches and then roll in the snow. Hey, that's why the Vikings were so tough.

Haha that's really interesting. I had no idea you could buy a stand alone sauna.

I love dry and wet saunas, but I wouldn't want to have one in my home. One more thing to take care of ~ LOL!

OH man! I'd love to sit in one of those in my own home. But It would be a hard decision between a sauna and a Jacuzzi .
