Yip Yip Yaphank, I had to go look. He wrote the musical review in 1918 while he served in WWI. Yeah, that makes sense.

The manner in which Turnip Top is carrying on, maybe Yip Yip Yaphank is now appropriate, as whilst that bastard is sitting in the Oval Office, there will be plenty of yipping, yopping and yapping going on much to the determent of the world.

Detriment is the correct word! Not determent, but I suppose it would also suffice.

Yip Yip Yaphank! I was googling that too! Yaphank is a real place and I found the story of Irving Berlin and Yip Yip Yaphank really interesting. "Oh, How I Hate To Get Up in the Morning" is a funny song from the musical. I used to dream of sleeping in when I was working, and now, when I can, I get up. Thanks for sharing this, Adam!
