Fact of the Day: Greenbrier Congress

The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia had a massive underground bunker built for it during the Cold War to house Congress in the event of nuclear war. Obviously, it had never been used for its original purpose.

I spent a week there, on a company retreat. We heard about the bunker, but did not get to see it.

I lived in Guyandotte West Virginia for a year and visited some of my grandparents family while there. Never been to this place though.

well I certainly hope it never has to be used but with that Turnip Top running the USA, one never knows. Hope they don't allow he and his nodding cabinet and family members in.
