Fact of the Day: McLean v. Arkansas

In 1981, Arkansas made a law where if a public school taught evolution, they would have to teach creation science to "balance it out". It was ruled unconstitutional because it favored one religion and also that creation science is not science at all. While it stayed in a lower federal court and only affected a small part of the country, it would later effect later cases in other courts.
