Qi'ra is a major character in Star Wars, mainly in Solo: A Star Wars story. We see her young and in love with Han Solo. Both of them, down on their luck with some petty crime-lord on some worthless planet.
But they both manage to escape from that local poverty.
But soon having problems with the Galactic Empire. Han manages to get past a gate, but Qi'ra is capture by Imperials and other bad people. Han is crushed and vows to see her again.
Which he does, and quite oddly too. She works for a really terrible man named Dryden Vos.
And she is "volunteered" to help Han and his team collection some unrefined coaxium, which is a rare and powerful source of energy. She rekindles her love with Han but ends up not being together at the end.
She ends up being an underling of Darth Marth, who somehow survived being chopped in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi. While Qi'ra wasn't my favorite Star Wars character, I liked her, and I did like the Maul twist. Too bad Solo tanked and her characters's story-line is probably dead.
