Fact of the Day: Papyrus Paper

The first known paper is papyrus, made from the papyrus plant. It had been used since ancient Egypt. It also is the origin of the English word paper.

Why I never connected the dots, I don’t know but it makes sense that Papyrus is the origin for the word Paper.
