Fact of the Day: Thor's Sacred Bird

In Norse mythology, it was believed that robin birds were sacred to the God Thor and an official bird of the storm-clouds.

Robins are one of my favorite birds, certainly the first bird I learned to identify as a small child. I'm happy to think robins were sacred to Thor!
