I had seen these rides for years, but we don't have on at Carowinds or at the local fairs. It's not exactly a thrilling ride, but I always wanted to ride the tea cups once. While I don't think Disney created the tea cups thing, their incarnation probably made Dollywood's big wigs want one for their park too.
We had a bad place in the Sun that day. This tea ain't iced tea.
And you have to do manual labor to make it spin, which I thought was pretty lame. Probably my least favorite ride there. Oh well... it is what it is.

Disney has a tea cup ride, related to Alice in Wonderland. I went on it, got dizzy but did not throw up.
Glad you worked up the courage to take that ride!
I've never been on that type of ride. I always thought I would get too dizzy.
This actually sounds ok except for the manual turn:D
The manual doesn´t sounds good. But looks cute
a lot like Disneyworld
Cute pics:) Did Daisy like the ride?
Well if you and Daisy rode in the teacup, surely I can get up the courage to ride the hobby horses next time at the state fair. :)
They are really cute!
Teacups make me sick. I always skip that ride, but my family loves it.
Spinning it yourself sounds like no fun. I usually get sick on that ride, so I avoid it.
It certainly looks so colourful, love the yellow/lemon.
All the best Jan
