Fact of the Day: Concrete Sand

Sand doesn't renew itself over the scale of human time-periods. The use of concrete has put it in high demand. While there is countless batches of sand in the world's deserts, it is terrible at making concrete. Most sand used for concrete comes from beaches and fossils.

Sand from beaches? That's not good. There are beaches in Hawaii that are having sand polluted with micro plastic.
