Fact of the Day: Tuxedo

The tuxedo gets its name from Tuxedo Park in New York, for which it was first worn in the United States. It did come from Great Britain where the term for the clothing is usually referred to as black tie.

Heard it referred to as both, never Tuxedo started in NY though.

The term "black tie" is occasionally used here as well, as in "It's a black tie affair."

As a Canadian born, I was used to "black tie."

PS: Where is "dearest" DJ and LV? Praying for Trump and his insults - now the UK Ambassador. How crass and disgusting, but what would you expect from such a "low-life"!!!
