Fact of the Day: Cabbage Rose

When cabbage roses were first developed in the 18th century, the original plant was sterile. They had to rely on a future mutant flower for them to be grown over and over again.

  2. oh wow, that's crazy! ...and to think, I have a whole garden of them in my front yard because they are one of my favorite flowers. Are they all mutants?
