It didn't take me long to hear about the Carolina Arcade Museum. It's located in Forest City, North Carolina, which should be close enough to anyone who lives near the SC-NC border unless you're near the beach. It was a decent drive but under an hour for us.
They have all kinds of arcade machines from the start of arcade to about the late 1990's.
I'd never thought I'd see some of these machines again. Unlike Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, nobody makes these machines anymore. These are the originals, not replicas.
They also have a ton of pinball machines. Everything is set up to be on unlimited continues. You just get a wristband (which is very reasonable) and you can stay all day long.
They also have some pretty cool decor. Like Majora's Mask, from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on N64. Not really an arcade game, but hey whatever.
Some Pac-Man lamps.
And some Link art.
Daisy isn't much of a gamer (she likes social media games and Pokemon) but she liked this place a lot. I didn't get to play everything before it was time to go home.
