Photos: Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Dragon Ripley's Odditorium (Gatlinburg)

Near the end is a treat for Harry Potter fans, a Hogwarts castle made of matchsticks. I think it would have been more impressive if it was painted. though, it is impressive.
And there's a "Harry Potter" dragon nearby made of recycled materials.

Maybe whoever built that castle didn't paint it because he or she wanted to emphasize that it was made of matchsticks. This way, an observer could admire all the hard work that went into it. Paint the matchsticks, and it might not have been so apparent.

Cool - MATCHES!!!!!
I thought they were HOT.
Below the Equator, they are used to generate heat.
Of course in the so-called great USA, well these days nothing surprises me.

Wow! Can you imagine how long it took to do that, and the patience involved? It would have been cool to paint it too, but I imagine once this was finished, whoever did it was so happy, and pretty much fell out in exhaustion.(lol) Hugs, RO

Made out of matchsticks? Wow, I can't even imagine the patience it took to make that. I wouldn't even attempt it. I have very little patience these days.

That's awesome! I do agree that painting it would be more impressive, but it's still pretty cool.

I imagine it took quite some time to piece that together. I probably would have got frustrated not even half way through building it and would have lit it up instead.
