Photos: Painting My Mother's Porch Armor Gray

Years ago I painted my mother's porch blue, and she had her then-boyfriend Jimmy a few years after paint it brick red. He didn't use a good primer (which I should have done the first time) and after 3 years, it became this peeling mess. I got tired of looking at it, so I decided to do it for my mother. I made sure to prime it with a great primer first.
And we got Seal Krete (a Rustoleum product) Epoxy-Seal in Armor Gray, which was pre-made. It works a lot like regular latex paints, but the dry time is a little slower but it's stronger. It's also soap and water clean up. It dries to a satin finish. I used the same kind in my garage (I don't drive on it though) and I was happy with it. In my garage, I didn't want to use a two-part epoxy because you have a limited time frame to get the project painted.
This was about two weeks after I painted it., as you can see some kudzu coming up from the gaps near the top step. I should had done it in the spring, I felt like I was going to die in the hot summer sun. My main concern now is the water that rests on it when it rains. I told my mom to use her electric leaf blower to push it off when it does, but she lost the battery...
