Photos: Star Wars Trilogy Arcade (Carolina Arcade Museum)

This was one of my favorite games at the Carolina Arcade Museum. I might have seen one in the past at a pizza place but I'm sure it was pretty expensive and probably prevented me from playing it. Now I got to play the game on endless tries. It was made by Sega in the late 1990's, as it's a sort of remake of their Star Wars Arcade game in the early 1990's. I'm surprised they didn't try to port it to Dreamcast.
It has most of the best moments of the movies. You get to destroy the first Death Star on Luke Skywalker's X-Wing
Flying around the snow level of Hoth.
You also get to use a blaster to take out snowtroopers. These were actually my favorite type of missions.
You do get a lightsaber during a fight with Boba Fett. But I found the controls to be awkward and not very fun. You'd think these would be the best of the game, but they're not.
Anyway, you also get to use that speeder bike on Endor.
And blast your way to help Luke and the rest of the rebellion destroy the Death Star.
And the final battle against Darth Vader. Like the Boba Fett battle, the awkward controls for lightsaber duels kind of ruined it for me.
And the finale, destroying the 2nd Death Star with the Millenium Falcon.
