Fact of the Day: Greyhound Family

While in recent decades, the dog breed had been known more as a dog for racing, greyhounds are starting to increase the popularity as being a family dog once again.

I'm glad people are starting to love them as family dogs as well, and not just as racing dogs :) Dogs are cool pets.

I would actually really like to have a greyhound if we ever get a dog, but hubby says they don't live as long as the smaller dogs:(

They're such sweet dogs, they just have a lot of energy.

That's good. I don't like the idea of dogs (or really, any animal) being raised for racing. I think there's a potential for mistreatment.
