Fact of the Day: Mount Sinai

Due to its huge role in the Abrahamic religions (where the stories say Moses got the Ten Commandments), Mount Sinai in Egypt is also known as Mount Moses.

You're big when you get a mountain named after you

Yet there are no hospitals named Mt Moses.

I did't know that, but it makes sense for sure. Hugs, RO

It is geographically on the Eastern side of the Red Sea ie: the same side as Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E.
It is not near the pyramids.
I am sure that the state of Israel would prefer Mt. Sinai to be in their territory rather than in Muslim territory.

We were at Mt. Sinai a long time ago and I don't think they ever told us that. Now I know.
