Fact of the Day: Woodrow

The first name Woodrow wasn't a popular given name until the rise of President Woodrow Wilson. He himself was named after his mother's maiden name.

Good God - so bizarre that so many of your readers haven't heard of this name.
It is forever associated with THIS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Versailles

And thus WW2.

And after the end of Adolf and Co. the ALLIES adopted a much fairer way to deal with Germany - THE MARSHALL PLAN.

This only makes me more certain that World Geography and History is NOT taught in US schools/colleges.
If you knew more then you wouldn't have a baboon as President. He certainly knows NOTHING.

PS: Where are the dear old right winger doyens of Texas - gone to an unhappy hunting ground???????????

Woody Guthrie was named after President Wilson. I wonder if Woody Woodpecker was, too.
