Apparently my youngest niece Little CR has quite the appetite. She tries to eat her sister's pizza when she's done eating her own.

Things I Like: Big Bird (Super Mario Land 2)
Not to be confused with Sesame Street's Big Bird, this one is just a boss in Super Mario Land 2 on Game Boy.
A pretty simple battle. The bird flies around and tries to attack.
With just a few jumps making quick work out of the bird brain. A basic but enjoyable battle.

Fact of the Day; Snow in the Wizard of Oz
Fake snow can be seen in the classic movie The Wizard of Oz. It was actually made with asbestos, which wasn't an uncommon ingredient in artificial snow at the time.

Things I Like: Merlin (Once Upon a Time)
While far from my favorite incarnation of the character Merlin in all fiction, he was a decent character on Once Upon a Time.

Danny the Cat Being Weird
While at my mom's house, her cat Danny started to lick the package of water bottles. I'm not going to try to reason why he was doing so.
Fact of the Day: Freemasons and Religion
The freemasons have been called a religion by many over the centuries, but they are not a church or a religious house. They typically accept all faiths, but do not allow atheists and other non-theists to join their ranks.

Rick and Morty (TV Series) Season 3 Review
Rick and Morty is a TV series I started not long and not counting the latest season (currently not done in production) I'm now all caught up for what I've been missing for years. Now is season 3 the best of them all?
Play on Main at Denny's
While downtown, I took my Little Brother Mr. B (Big Brothers Big Sisters program) to one of the city's newest playgrounds. Since it was right next to the Denny's Headquarters (they occupy the tallest building in Spartanburg) Denny's helped in the creation of the place.
Fact of the Day: JFK's Grandma
John F. Kennedy was the first president inaugurated with a living grandparent, which was his maternal grandmother.

Jumanji: The Next Level (2019 Film) Review
As a kid, Jumanji with Robin Williams was one of my favorite films ever. Seeing the sequel Welcome to the Jungle at first glance was horrific...but it actually turned out really good even if it was not really the same kind of film as the original movie. I had my doubts on The Next Level as I could see it being a big case of deja vu. Was I wrong?
Meeting the Dog Named Teddy Bear
After the pizza/arcade place, I took my Little Brother Mr. B (Big Brothers Big Sisters program) for some ice cream downtown. While walking around, we saw this dog named Teddy Bear with his owner. He's apparently a pomeranian mix.

Gummy candy as a term came from Germany, though spelled as gummi. In British-English, jelly is a more popular name for the candy.

Bob's Burgers (TV Series) Season 2 Review
Not long ago I started Bob's Burgers which came out on Fox quite a number of years ago and is still running strong. It's not my favorite show of all time, but I have enjoyed it quite a bit. But how did the second season fare against the first?
Fact of the Day: Ancient Hockey
While hockey has been around for awhile, its origins date back to ancient times. Even ancient Egyptians were known to play games with curved sticks 4,000 years ago.

Things I Hate; Isaac Heller/The Author (Once Upon a Time)
We first think he's a normal guy, but he was the infamous Author that was hinted at for a long time.
Painting the Bathroom Closet White
Since we had some flooding leak under the baseboards during a tornado, we got everything out of the closet. I put some Lexel caulk underneath to keep future water out of the inside as best as possible, which I wish I had done before the tornado.

Things I Hate; King Arthur (Once Upon a Time)
I did not like this take on King Arthur, whom appears during the Dark Swan saga. He is the King of Camelot and he knows of Merlin.
Fallen Tree From Tornado Damage Near Mom's House
My mom's house didn't really have much tornado damage but her next door neighbor had a huge tree almost fall on her house.

Things I Like: Tatanga (Super Mario Land)
Tatanga is the final boss of Super Mario Land. While he doesn't hold a candle to Bowser, he was a decent bad guy.
2nd Trip to Antonino Bertolo's Pizza in Boiling Springs SC
We went shortly after they opened last year but I try to take Daisy with me but that only works if I work and she's off and the place is close by my work. She had the wings and the celery.
Fact of the Day: Mayor
The English word mayor comes from the Old French word maire. The Old French word comes from the Latin word "major" meaning "greater."

2020 Spartanburg Tornado
A few weeks ago Spartanburg county had a real deal tornado and it made a lot of damage especially on the west side of town. We live on the east side and while we did get some flooding, it wasn't the end of the world. But getting home from work was a nightmare. Two paths home were blocked by trees, but luckily my 3rd attempt was successful.
Fact of the Day: Rivals
The English word rival comes from the Latin word rivalis meaning "person using the same stream as another."

Using Rain-X Waterless Car Wash
Since I can't get a garden hose near my car at my house this waterless car wash had caught my eye. Especially since my car had not been washed for quite some time.
Fact of the Day: Purple Versus Violet
While purple and violet might seem synonymous, they are not the same. Violet is its own color on the light spectrum. Purple is merely a combination of blue and red.

Things I Like: The Simpsons (Season 9)
While I still liked it then and now, this is certainly the first season to see a change in direction and a big dip in comedic quality.
